Government Considering Compulsory ‘New Style’ Face Masks For all British Citizens

The government are reported to be considering making facemasks compulsory for all British citizens in a bid to prevent a second wave of the Coronavirus.

A spokesman said that the ‘scientific evidence’ for the effectiveness of face masks is proven and the government may consider taking steps to make it mandatory to wear one when out and about.

Face masks have already been required on public transport since June 15th and medical experts have advised the British government that they should also be compulsory in shops, restaurants and pubs when those facilities reopen.

The government are believed to be thinking of introducing what they call a ‘full head mask’ which covers the entire face except for the eyes. The masks, which have a high, conical point and convenient flaps around the shoulders, provide extra protection compared with standard masks.
